So has the Subpoenas been issued yet?
Or did the Democrats bow to Bush*t's threats?

1. The Democrats have to give the Bushies the chance to
testify under oath voluntarily. If the Democrats don't push this matter to its logical conclusion and call for a special prosecutor to enforce its subpoenas, they will have a revolt by ordinary Democrats.

6. Right.
They are, to borrow an old phrase, eyeball to eyeball. We'll see who blinks.

7. People here know this.
But for some reason here there are a cretain few that keep bringing this up. Just do a simple search and you will see it's been asked and answered several times today.

3. I believe Conyers is holding on to them for the moment.
The House voted to give the go-ahead for subpoenas, but Conyers is giving the White House one last chance to save face by producing Rove, Miers and those documents "voluntarily." My guess is that he'll sign the subpoena papers and have them served to the White House tomorrow, assuming Bush doesn't decide to cooperate.

5. Why not Issue them now?
Bush*t and the White House said they wont talk under oath, I dont think he will change his mind.

Also I hope this isnt something that will drag on for months, the democrats need to show some balls.
