"He serves at the pleasure of the President"
I am sick to death of all these thugs...and I am especially sick of that particular phase.

THESE PEOPLE serve at OUR pleasure...The American Public. Not the pleasure of any one man or party and it is SO way past time that all of these murderers need to be arrested, indicted, and freaking IMPEACHED!!!

ALL OF THEM!!!

Every one that had a hand in the secrets, the lies, the thefts, and wrongs that have been perpetrated on this country. I want them all. They have ruined this country in ways that I can't even articulate and I am beyond angry.

Congress almost impeached Clinton for having sex and then lying about it. These Ass-hats have been lying their butts off about every freaking thing they have done since slithering into OUR White House!

So tell me...

What on God's Green Earth is it gonna take for our Congress get off their collective asses and move against these bastards?

And was found not guilty of what he was impeached for...as it should have been.

4. Actually..
he was only impeached by the House...not the Senate and that was reversed.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

President Bill Clinton was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999 of the December 19, 1998, impeachment charge by the House of Representatives. The charges were perjury and obstruction of justice, arising from the Lewinsky scandal. After a 21-day trial, the Senate vote fell short of the two-thirds majority required for conviction and removal from office under the Constitution. The impeachment proceedings were largely party-line, with no Democratic Senators voting for conviction and only three Democratic Representatives voting for impeachment. In all, 55 senators voted "not guilty," and 45 voted "guilty" on the charge of perjury. The Senate also acquitted on the obstruction charge with 50 votes cast each way.

6. Impeachment versus Impeachment Trial...
Upon the passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives on grounds of perjury to a grand jury (by a 228-206 vote) and obstruction of justice (by a 221-212 vote), becoming the first elected U.S. president to be impeached, and only the second president to be impeached (the previous one being Andrew Johnson in 1868 who was elected as vice-president and became president after the death of Abraham Lincoln). Two other articles of impeachment failed — a second count of perjury in the Jones case (by a 205-229 vote) and one accusing Clinton of abuse of power (by a 148-285 vote). Four Republicans opposed all four articles, while five Democrats voted for at least one of them. Much of the House debate was held in closed session, which has led to speculation that the disclosure of confidential information played a part in the impeachment proceedings.

that said, it's splitting hairs. Clinton was one of two presidents impeached...later being acquitted by the Senate

3. The phrase
should be " They are pleasuring the President". It is a little more accurate.
