So yesterday I saw the Pressser
and boy oh boy, oh boy, I was thown boack to those heady days of Nixon.

I was relioeved to see that I was not the only one...

But Bush is wilfully taking the contry down the innevitable constitutional crisis road,

And yes there was the same exact hubris... I was almost looking for them jowls or a v for victory.

1. We should all stop and envision . . .
. . . a helicopter on the front lawn of the White House.

That's some karma I want to see go down . . .

9. I will never forget that moment!
That smile and the big V's just creeped me out but at least we all knew it was over. It is one of the memories that will always be with me.

3. I was around when Tricky Dicky Nixon did that to the country
...but Shrub* is no Nixon! Nixon was accused of being amoral, but George Dubya is far more amoral than Nixon ever could have been.

Web definitions for Amoral
The term amoral is distinct from the terms moral and immoral, and simply refers to the state of lacking any moral characteristics. An amoral act is not morally good nor is it morally bad - it simply is. An amoral man is one who has no conception of morality or moral judgments. Babies, for example, are amoral.

7. "...people have got to know whether or not their president is a crook."
"Well, I’m not a crook."

November 17, 1973. Richard Nixon gave his "I'm not a crook" speech. This was triggered by the reaction to the Saturday Night Massacre of October 20, 1973, when Nixon fired special prosecutor Archibald Cox resulting in the resignation of AG Elliot Richardson and the firing of Assistant AG William Ruckelshaus. The outcry for impeachment was so strong that Nixon had to respond to the groundswell calling for his removal.

The House Judiciary Committee convened formal impeachment inquiry by February, 1974 and would deliberate on articles of impeachment through the end of July of that year.

One wonders when Chimp is going to have his "I'm not a crook" moment.

Anybody want to start a pool?
