This just gets better and better. By now we all know that Arkansas US Attorney Bud Cummins was fired, over the objections of Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor, in order to make way for Rove protege Tim Griffin. Here is where it gets tricky. When asked why Griffin was given the nod over the current deputy USA, Jane Duke, DOJ spokesman Brian Roehrkasse responded that Griffin was selected instead of Duke because Duke was pregnant. Call me a nutty conspiracy theorist, but this is a clear violation of the Pregnancy Discrimination Act which states that employers (including the federal government) may not discriminate on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, or other medical conditions. Hell, it appears to me that we just need to throw all of these fuckers in jail and start fresh!

7. I would love to see this become a national issue.

Women face horrible career discrimination when they're pregnant. This would be a great opportunity to make an issue of it in a very high profile way.

I doubt it will happen. I think the MSM will ignore this entirely. But if they surprise me I'll be making sure lots of people around me hear all about it.
