3. Bolten & the wingnuts @ the AEI are a far bigger threat to the US than Iran's nuke program
they are here TODAY and have a direct line to the Chimp - the Iranian nuclear threat is years and years away if it ever happens.

4. Recess appointee indeed
Aren't they all? Any way * can get them in will do.

From the same article:

Bolton arrived at the United Nations in August 2005, a controversial figure appointed by Bush during a Congressional recess because he twice failed to be confirmed by the Senate. Still unable to get Senate backing, he stepped down in December.

Now back at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, he says he’s writing a book about his days at the U.N. titled “Surrender is Not an Option.” emphasis added

What a jerk. Groupthink. "Bushie loyalists." They're all cut from the same cloth.

"Still unable to get Senate backing" -- can't he get a clue from that? No one wants to hear his nonsense, but he keeps spewing it.

5.  they have done everything within the neocon play book
to insure the unpopular government in iran stays in power. the last thing the neocon want is what just happened in iran, the people voting to reject the conservatives and voting in moderate officials across the political spectrum.
no one in the neocon movement ever mentions that iran has free elections now do they....

6. typical
He was an ass on the Daily Show. Dunno if anyone had the clip but it really must be seen to be believed. He said that advisors cannot give full and appropriate advice when their comments might become public. "What would they be suggesting that they wouldn't want known in public?" Stewart counters. I'm flashing back to the Nixon tapes with Jews being seen as responsible for great evils and wanting to spread radioactive dust over north vietnam.
