Today is the day to thank the American voters who put Dems in power.
We would be on the same downward spiral to totalitarianism without the voters who put their government back into the hands of the people. We must continue to strive to keep the fresh air pouring into the government of gwbush. We have to stay vigilant.

1. Hear Hear!
All the things that have come about in just the last month are staggering! And, what impresses me the most: they took out that clause in the Patriot Act that Gonzo used to game the system, and all in a matter of just a few days! It wasn't revealed until last week, and the Senate voted to fix it yesterday!

And it never would have happened without the Dem majority. We wouldn't have even heard that the problem existed!

9. My happiness is almost complete but I put no trick, no matter how evil,
beyond the hands of this cabal of freedom haters. That fact keeps me on edge.

The Dems were a bunch of cowardly gutless sell outs? What happened?

6. Not in my books. They are working within the system methodically and
with purpose to right many of the wrongs that the bushies have perpetrated on us. This will take time and finesse if we want to stay in power.

12. I think he was making a joke.
There was a lot of that on the boards before the Plame hearings last week.

13. You are probably right. I had to do a little verbal sparring with my
very liberal daughter on the idea that Dems were not doing enough, fast enough so I am sensitive on the subject. I would like us to accomplish it all right now but that is not going to happen. Only patience and diligence will do the trick.

What a difference a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain
