Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 11:34 AM by Hissyspit
Where were you fuckers in 2000 and 2003 and 2004 and 2005?!

Fuckers.

Ask him about the NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM OFFICE. Tens of Millions of Americans want to know about THAT!

Now the MSM feels safe to "ask the hard questions." How noble.

Weasels.

On Edit: Who is the reporter who just stood up and said "At the risk of offending everyone, I'm going to change the subject to health care?" She is my hero for today.

17. I've been screaming about this for days! Thank you!
If the guy is guilty, put him in jail, but it is a local story involving one state in America. What Bush did involved the whole world and includes unjustifiable murder. There is absolutely NO comparison. And while we are at it, I think the fact that 79% polled will not miss Bush should run as the headline right through the Inauguration! I imagine for Dick C., his polling must be a negative number!

12. You notice when he got shot down with Obama's push
on reform in Illinois that he made no comment and then ended
the story? Gregory is someone we all knew in High School
and everyone would have loved to give wedges to if they were
given half the chance.

24. Oh, yeah. I noticed it. Jonathan Alter brought it up.
But Alter also made an inappropriate equivalence with the left referring to the right's "culture of corruption." There is no evidence of a "culture of corruption" within Democratic circles. There is only evidence so far of one major-league corrupt asshole drunk with power (the governor.) I was even disappointed in Alter.

into prosecutorial mode on Obama administration along with Brian Ross,Stephanopolous and Jake Tapper. They act like it's the new Watergate.

How connected is Charlie Gibson to his Cousin Mel's rightwing Catholic antisemitism? What did he know and when did he know it?I demand an investigation.

14. God. Do they think we've been in a coma for the last fourteen years?
They don't even try to update their methods. It's like deja vu all over again. This is the kind of media distraction that gave us George Bush II, Iraq, financial ruin and global shame.

16. They have nothing but the politics of personal destruction
and cultural wars to fall back on. They are ideologically bankrupt.

The chief consolation is that Obama is smart, probably way too smart to be distracted from his real work to get
side barred.

Not that the repugs don't keep trying.

I agree, this is a new era, bloggers will not allow the same crap to go on as in the past, the truth gets out pretty quickly.

There is nothing there with this "scandal" and they wasted my and every other American's time with it.

And within the context of their behavior over the last ten years, it was despicable.

Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 03:03 PM by Uncle Joe
who actually seemed to care about our health care crisis. Apparently she did offend ABC corporate media as they cut away before Presidential Elect Obama could answer what he already had announced would be the last question of the day.

30. Thanks, Uncle Joe
(Why do I feel like I'm living in Petticoat Junction when I say that?)

I heard her name, but was so disgusted with what I was hearing before that, I missed it.
Nobody laughed when she prefaced her question, and they should have. That speaks volumes.

33. I have no idea,
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 12:54 PM by Uncle Joe
but I have been moving kind of slow as of late.

But what threw me for a loop was ABC corporate media "News" not even giving the President Elect, the courtesy of telecasting his last answer without cutting away on such a critical issue as health care which had went un-addressed throughout that press conference. I mean at that point the press conference was practically over, just one more answer, but that last question wasn't about scandal so apparently ABC didn't care.

This just seemed like such a blatant attempt of ABC using the public airwaves for the sole purpose of corporate media propaganda, that I found it repugnant. The truly sad thing was that CBS, NBC corporate media didn't telecast any of it live.
