Giuliani: "I have the strongest Texas connection" (amongst candidates)
Uh, ok...if he is going to claim that, hope he also claims his Tom Delay connection. No picking and choosing, your "Texas connections", dude.

Mr. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York, spent the day in Dallas and Fort Worth greeting supporters and raising money for his presidential bid.

His Dallas-area swing included a few holes of golf with high-dollar donors at an exclusive club in Collin County and meet-and-greets in Dallas and Fort Worth.

"We have so much support here, I'm going to move to Texas," Mr. Giuliani said in Dallas.

Mr. Giuliani's law firm is based in Houston, with offices in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. "If people in Texas want a presidential candidate with Texas connections, I think I have the strongest one," he told donors. "I'm here a lot on business. I've got to know Texas really well."

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay owns stock worth more than $50,000 in ExxonMobil, according to financial disclosure reports, while at the same time he is one of the driving forces behind legislation that would shield that company and other manufacturers of the gasoline additive MTBE from lawsuits that could cost them millions.

Already under fire for alleged ethical lapses, DeLay, a Texas Republican, has hired the Houston law firm Bracewell and Giuliani to defend against those charges. But the firm, in which former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is a partner, also represents a host of MTBE manufacturers in court and in Congress.

1. He's Correct
More than any other candidate, Giuliani's a misanthrope, e.g., he hates everyone.

Romney is merely a sociopath.

3. "I'm going to move here." Christ, not you, too
We've got the Bush evil empire to deal with down here. Please, not Rudy too!

6. "fewer than 10 people gathered in the "free" standing-room-only section"
That should be a sign right there that he needs to give up now. Talk to us when you have several hundred in the free zone, Rudy.

Maybe he plans on doing like Bush Sr did when he was prez...rent a hotel suite and claim Texas as his primary residence. Gets that "no state tax" benefit without actually having to buy a house here!
