"Activist judges" "frivolous lawsuits"
Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 09:03 PM by ColbertWatcher
How many "poisonous talking points" created by the GOP to diminish confidence in the U.S.'s justice system can you name?

I'm wondering because in another thread I started (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=4620739&mesg_id=4620739) DUer lulu in NC mentioned judges and it got me thinking ...

There's probably a whole slew of these "poisonous talking points" created by the GOP to undermine confidence in our court system.

From that same thread, here a few more:
1. lawsuit abuse (from DUer Ikonoklast)

2. "it's money for nothin" meme (from DUer TexasObserver)

3. corporate personhood (from DUer Cerridwen)

4. activist judges (what DUer lulu in NC reminded me of)

5. reduced fines are punishment (from DUer stillcool47)

How many others can you name?
