10. I did vote for the GP candidate in 1996 and 2000. But in 2004 I voted for Kerry,

even though I knew he would win California anyway, I voted for him just to increase his popular vote total. But I like the GP and their platform very much. They are what the DP should be.

8. It ain't a case of "if" really.

We didn't build those megafacilities to abandon them absolutely. Even if we pull out of Iraq as occupiers, no longer doing the policing, getting killed and what have you, the fallback position is to throw money at the UN and let THEM get blown up instead.

Our guys will hide behind the wire in the Green Zone for awhile yet, is my guess, overseeing that oil bidniz while we try to cut consumption here at home and develop, way the fuck late out of the gate, more energy efficient strategies in the future.

And that crosses administrations. Like it or not.

No one wants to hear that, but that's how I see it shaking out.

I won't be sad if I'm wrong, though.
