Did the anarchy kids even get within 100 feet of the bridge this time?

I was downtown for the day after 2004, sorry I was in LA for this one, we have such "bright" police

The Muslim ladies' sign is awesome (though the pic could use some photoshop)!

:headbang:

6. I'm serious...that's one good photo.
Kill the brightness of the sky and the sort of dullness the red gets from it is stunning.

I have a feeling the Reedies weren't out in force as it was spring break.O8)

11. Your pictures are way better than mine
But I'll still try to get them up by the weekend.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by those damned anarchy kids? Gah. Their behavior is so attention-seeking and counter-productive. I honestly don't think they seriously care about the cause; they just want to make a spectacle of themselves. Reminds me of a lot of my eighth graders.

22. Some dimbulb from Willamette Week was there
He put on a shirt and tie, and walked through the crowd beforehand with a sign that said on one side "Osama Loves PDX Liberals," and something equally inflammatory on the other side, but I don't quite remember what it was. I remarked to a friend of mine at the time I saw him, "Damn, the things you see when you don't have an enlistment form on you."

Well, Dimbulb wrote a short column about his experience in Willamette Week. You'll be horrified to know that many people in the crowd took exception to his little sign. Afterward, he left the sign laying around while he stepped into a porta-potty, and when he came out someone had put it in the trash!

We liberals are apparently a pretty vile bunch. And Willamette Week is no longer an "alternative" newspaper (and hasn't been for years).
