2. Embarrassed? Afraid to have perjured herself?
The last shot I saw of her was her reaction to hearing Waxman say he was going to fact check her testimony - with his little quip that it would include her statement that she wrote the draft '25' years ago not '30'.

She look thoroughly shocked and dismayed. Punched in the stomach. It was gratifying to see it as it was possibly her only honest response that afternoon.
