1. They are back and getting larger
but this time the media is not sympathetic to our cause. We have Students For A Democratic Society back, International Action Center, ANSWER, United For Peace And Justice, The World Can't Wait, Not in Our Name, MoveOn.org, myriads of socialist parties, Progressive Demcorats of America ect ect..actions are taking place almost daily in this country but we are getting NO coverage. The right wing has all but completed their fascist takeover of both parties AND the media.

2. I was discharged from the Navy 10 days earlier
on Sept 10, 1969 and went on to co-start the Vietnam Veterans Against the War chapter on the Univ of Mass (Amherst) campus.

Yes, those were the days.

Little did I know that Chimpy McCokespoon was going AWOL and deserting his pussy National Guard unit at that time.
