Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a creek and large private estates behind it the house was built in 1959, sits on 1.13 acres and offers 8501 square feet of living space. The house next door was purchased by an unknown buyer, presumably for the Secret Service. The sale price was $2.07 million.

So ..... we paid dearly to improve the pig farm. What's this rich trash manse gunna cost us?

Hey, I know ..... maybe we can build a big fucking fence to keep them IN. You know .... like this one:

2. We're paying for things with Obama's house. We're paying for things with both Bill and Hillary's

houses.

Hardly a concern.

6. It's right down Preston from my sons' house.
I would hate to be a resident on that street. It will have Area 51-like security.

4. No need fer a fence
I have a feeling that the most movement we'll ever see from this place is George peeking through the curtains. Thnk about it. The guy is basically going to be a prisoner in his own home, at least until another president fucks up worse than he has.

Once he's gone, if I never see his smirking puss again, it'll be too soon.

17. Liver disease can shorten one's life.
killed my BIL...
he loved retirement. Meant he could sit around the house with no demands and drink any and all the time.
Wifey never said a word, either.

She did inherit a million bucks, 2 houses, 4 cars when he died a few years later.

just saying.........

12. 41 actually said he didn't remember where he was when Kennedy was shot.
That would make him the only American who was out of infancy at the time who didn't remember where s/he was when Kennedy was shot. :eyes:

23. No, but it keeps the conspiracy nuts warm at night imagining he was involved in everything
I think even in the most generous light, your "evidence" is less than proof. Whoever that is standing next to the Schoolbook Depository, he has a different hairline than GHWBush.

Ah, but that's just what they want you to think!

9. Funny you mention a pig farm...
When I was working for a private club in Dallas, I did a catered event in that neighborhood. I was not involved in politics back then, so I didn't know any of the attendees, but it was a fundraiser for some local Republican politician. anyway, the guy who hosted the event had a pig for a pet. I am not talking about a miniature pot-bellied pig, but a full-sized BIG PIG! It lived inside the house and was house-trained. This guy had thousand dollar vases sitting on little stands on the floor, and so many expensive pieces of decor, and a big-ass pig walking through the living room as guests in top of the line suits drank martinis. It was rather surreal.

At one point, one of the geezers said to his fellow geezer, as they both looked out the floor-to-ceiling windows, framing the lush landscaping and trees, "Aren't we lucky to live in a forest?" I thought to myself, "Forest? You fucking moran! You live in a CITY, in a rich enough neighborhood that they actually kept the trees and planted more instead of just razing the whole damn block like they usually do."

I just recall I went north of 12 and it was west of Preston. It was long ago, like in 1991, so they could have moved or have two homes. Maybe they had joint oink custody. LOL

The pig was cool! Just like a big dog! LOL

21. not sure if they did yet or not
I know right after the Clintons bought their Chappaqua, NY house (my hometown is the next town), I went over there to check it out. They bought the house in 99, and I think they started to close off the street (a dead end) in 2000. I remember when he was in office, they had all the roads closed when he was in town, and I couldnt get to work.

24. This seems to be an interim home
They had a hard time finding a place and had to settle on this one. Looks like they'll be building their own.

(snip)

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday while unveiling this year's Christmas decorations, Laura Bush said that she and the president were counting pennies in order to afford their new digs. "We will be moving to Dallas in January, and there might be a new house coming along," Mrs. Bush said. "So I think that's where we'll spend our Christmas money."
