3. I look at GM and I see thousands

of blue collar workers,you look at GM and see 5 CEO's.The masses should not be punished for the sins of a few.Would you throw these workers out because the upper management were jerks?
If we lose hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs,they ain't coming back and no matter what industry you work in it will be affected.Everyones wages will take a hit.So if you want to sell out the whole rust belt just be prepared to live with the consequences.

Let's not blame the auto makers for giving people what they clearly wanted. Why don't we turn the mirror around and figure out why no one would have bought the electric car (and I mean en masse. Rich people and people who really, really, really believe in conservation would have, but very few "average" Americans would).
