Sarah Palin has added to her financial disclosure forms two free trips that she took nearly two years ago but failed to report. Palin, who was Republican presidential candidate John McCain's running mate, made the disclosures last month, but after Election Day when she and McCain lost to Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The trips were first revealed in a story by The Associated Press in October.

The free trips were taken in April and May of 2007 and should have been reported within 30 days under state ethics law. The Nov. 17 disclosure forms note that the reports were "not filed timely due to administrative error."

1. Administrative errors?
What's that old maxim "ignorance of the law is no excuse".

4. don't forget, she got the taxpayers to pay for the rewiring at the Mansion
so she could use her tanning bed. :eyes:

Let the RNC cling to her, let them hold her out as the hope for the party, give 'em enough rope, as they say.

2. She should be fined.
If our Public Offices Commission isn't looking into it, they should be. This is the same sort of thing that got Ted Stevens in trouble and for which even Mark Begich had to pony up some cash. I don't think Sarah will get away with this. She might get a free ride through December, but when the legislature reconvenes in January, they're going to have to rein her in. She's really quite out of control these days, believing her own hype.

5. I do like how your senator let her know that she will be much
better off not seeking to take her job in 2010. I still say the scorned daughter will have a hand in making sure that Sista Sarah's political future is just a hype dream.
