so, the ultimate corporate irony: several layoffs, and today they announce wage freezes

p.s. My husband was laid off three weeks ago. I bet him a dollar the night before last that more layoffs are coming at his old company. He wouldn't take the bet.

2. Your HR Director needs to be strung up by his/her toenails.
I've never much liked HR people, the one where I work is mean and not very helpful at all.
