right of conscience and my health insurance and taxes
The Bush "right of conscience" depends on me paying my health insurance for people who will not do as I ask them. My insurance payments to hospitals and health care providers cover overhead and non-profitable services. If they have the "right of conscience" to not perform activities, I think I have the "right of conscience" not to pay their salaries.
My taxes go towards federal grants that fund hospitals and health providers. I think I should have the "right of conscience" to deny any payments towards salaries of those who will not provide the services that my conscience dictates.
