Pines first-grader accused of using knife to rob classmate
PEMBROKE PINES - A knife-wielding 7-year-old first-grader robbed a 6-year-old classmate of one dollar, in a school bathroom, authorities said today.

The schoolhouse stick-up happened Nov. 26 at Pines Lakes Elementary, 10300 Johnson St., district spokesman Keith Bromery said.

The boys were in a bathroom when the older child held a kitchen knife to the other's nose and demanded his money.

The younger boy complied.

1. I want to be first to blame the parents of the alleged thief.

3. I want to blame meat eaters.
Because if people didn't eat meat, there would be no steak knives, then this kid would have had to arm himself with something safer, like a pencil case.

2. Survey: Pembroke Pines is fine for raising the kids (11.23.08)
BusinessWeek named Pembroke Pines as the best Florida community in which to raise kids in 2009, based on its education system and low crime rate.

5. Was the knife really necessary
The 7 year old probably could have gotten the buck from the six year old with just an old fashioned "I'm gonna kick your ass." When will these kids learn you don't show your hand until you have to. Amateurs.
