If You Have A Friend In Georgia Please Give Them A Call Today
Jim Martin might be elected Senator from the State of Georgia tomorrow. The one thing that will allow that to happen is if Democrats, who are the minority in Georgia, "get out the vote".

So I'm asking you to give friends or relatives you know who live in Georgia a call today and ask them to please do it one more time, take the trip to the polls again, spend another hour or two of their time for their country. Every vote counts; remember Florida and look at Minnesota to see its true.

Jim Martin, Georgia. I'm breaking out the the rollidex this morning, there are 3 people down there I need to talk to. I know its not much or many, but if even one of them goes out and votes for Martin it just might be the vote that takes him over the top.

1. I talked to several friends and emailed others over the weekend.
Honestly, I don't have much hope. But considering the low turnout we usually have for runoffs, if a quarter to a third of the Obama voters got to the polls, that sack of shit Chambliss would be history.

2. I heard a couple of my relatives over the weekend discussing this...
Unfortunately they are voting for Clarence. :eyes:

"Are you voting Tuesday?"

"Oh yes, this one is VERY important."

"Mmmm-hmmm."

I wonder if they were stage-whispering for the lone liberal in the family.

4. Been doing so all weekend...
I think we have a couple of dozen formerly apathetic, but Obama-supporting friends and friends of friends who will show up, if I (or mys sister) have nagged them sufficiently (and I think we have).
