Anyone else think we could have done better with $8.8 TRILLION ,,,,
than giving it to corporate America and fat capitalists -- ???

How many jobs could we have structured --??

Single payer health care --??

How many GREEN plants and jobs for better products we really need --??

Helping farmers -- avoiding Monsanto seeds/food -- planting organically --

disconnecting from throwing petroleum on our crops --??

Cleaning oceans, waterways -- ridding ourselves of factory farming --?

Investing in a new GI bill and really trying to bring soldiers back to healh --?

Real investments in honest educations -- eliminating the hierarchies and corp-tpe

CEOs head our universities now --?

Investing in renewable energy -- solar, wind, etal --?

Reforming our "slash & burn" medicine and turning it from cures which never happen

to prevention -- ??

Protecting labor -- investing in their health and well-being --???

Cleaning our air and stopping pollution --??

And, JUSTICE...? Ending the phony drug war --

and on and on --

Child care --

...and...????

2. What could possibly be better than paying off some overrich fat cats?
Oh, and we can't afford any of that stuff on your list anymore. Gosh, if you'd just asked for it a month earlier! Oh well.

5. Do you really expect these guys to get by on just 5 houses, 3 jets, and 2 yachts?
Everyone knows they absolutely need at least 8 houses. C'mon! Where's your empathy?!

7. That's $29,000 per American. Young, old, weak, and strong.
I say we give it to rich people who create problems and take our tax money to fix the problems they make!!111!!!11 That's a HUGH good idea.

That's a $116,000 gift from a family of four in America to America's richest people. Aren't we swell.

8. we could have given the money instead TO every man, woman, and child.
how many mortgages would THEN be in danger of default if every family of four had an extra $116,000?
how many businesses would then quickly thrive if consumers had that much extra cash in hand?

sure, the companies who screwed up would have a tough time and some would fail, but others would rather quickly take their place.

banks would refuse to lend to the troubled companies who screwed up, but they would very quickly pour money into new ventures and healthy companies set up to take advantage of the huge demand boost.
