Mob-Mart
where else but in america can you get so called patriotic and family-values people to crowd around outside a mega-store for hours or even days before it opens and then, when it does, kick in the entrance and make such a mad, angry rush inward with the intention of getting as much chinese made shit before the other people get it first, that they stampede and kill an innocent bystander in the process? and where else but america, when these people are asked to leave the store because they killed a human being, would they complain about it and whine because of all the time they spent waiting?

and all this in order to celebrate the birth of christ.

There were 2000 people massed in front of Walmart's door with no barriers, cordons or crowd control officers.

ALL THAT WAS NEEDED WAS FOR THE 1900 behind you to start leaning forward.

6. more mob mentality
the first and last example you cite are very similar to the walmart thing. the two in the middle are very different circumstances. all four are tragic.

people killing others in a mad rush to buy chinese crap, see a concert or get onto a TV show is just so bizarre.

4. the doors were opened not broken down

a video released right afterward shows that the doors were slid open- which they should not have been with thousands of people ready to rush through a confined area

Wal Mart was not prepared - did not prepare for crowd control

8. im not absolving walmart of liability here.....
....just pointing out how strange it is that 2000 people (or however many it was) would be crowding around outside a walmart waiting for it to open so they could participate in a free-for-all shopping-gasm for a bunch of crappy chinese products.

'Hundreds dead' in Nigeria riots

Hundreds of people have been killed in the central Nigerian city of Jos after Christians and Muslims clashed over the results of a local election, a senior Red Cross official has said.

The official, who asked not to be named, said on Saturday that 218 bodies were lying in the main mosque in Jos, awaiting burial.

Sheikh Khalid Abubakar, the imam at the mosque, claimed that more than 400 dead bodies were brought to the mosque.

It is also likely that the bodies of Christians killed in the riots were taken elsewhere, making the total number of dead uncertain.
