Some of the rules for people on welfare
* Difficult to get credit for welfare by getting a college degree

* Difficult to get credit for welfare by going through a drug treatment program

* Lifetime limit of 5 years

Why do I have this crazy feeling that companies and executives benefiting from the bailout won't have a lifetime limit or any other rules to worry about? Must be just me.

1. You realize there are also work hours required?
You have to either be in a training program, searching for a job or working ...I think it is like 15-20 hs a wek. And it all has to be approved, so if they think you ar going to be taing classes that don't make a dent in gting you back to work, you are not allowed, or if you go to a therapist that they don't approve, this bill is not paid...

Lots of requirements, and while I understand it is to discourage the fraud factor, it usuall discourages those who need it.

and no, the corporate people will have NO requirements, and no limits.

sad state of the world, and many of us who have been in poverty for any length of time really have no say it it either... it just IS
