Why is W(arlord) Bush trying to instill fear in the American public?
I just saw W and Paulson on the tv and was wondering... Purposely generating economic fear within the masses results in... Where is the benefit? ...Hhmmmm, who benefits? ...What goal or set of goals would be advanced or achieved?
...economic panic ...stop buying ...worst xmas shopping season since 1943 ...GM declares bankruptcy ...Citibank receives 2nd massive infusion of federal cash ...the feds take over AIG ...$66T in derivative calls crash world markets ...run on banks...massive bank failures ...FDIC gets $3T emergency loan ...Mastercard declares bankruptcy...
GREAT DEPRESSION, part two.

why?

2. The fact that they are using the 'D' word tells me something
Up until now, no one, absolutely NO ONE used the D word (Depression)

It was recession, malaise, slowdown - lots of other terms but not Depression

"Obama's election caused the depression" "there wasn't a depression until Obama won" and so on and so forth. It's the same old same old. The GOP isn't dead, it's just regrouping, and they are going to hit us with every cheap shot and underhanded tactic they can come up with.

9. Thats why we need to engage in some point and blame of our own
They tried to blame everything on earth on Bill Clinton.
We need to unmistakably weld the blame for this disaster to the greedy
Republicans that caused it.
HAMMER IT: the Bush Depression, in all of its foul glory.
There's your legacy , junior.
If someone says obama did it its time for an incident.
If necessary shout down the scum trying to shift blame from Bush.

4. All Republicans are traitors
I'm done being nice, it does no good. They are not humans to me, barely domesticated, but trainable - like pack mules and pitbulls. Traitors and useful idiots who've betrayed America.

8. I think as far as finances go, the country is oversaturated with fear.

Too many threads today the past few months have talked about empty malls, people not able to pay for groceries, free food giveaways swamped by people with their hands out needing food.

It's bad, everyone already knows, but naturally the GOP have no idea what's going on.

Someone needs to send Dumbya, Paulson and their GOP buddies a message that not only are we not eating bread, but we can't eat the cake they would recommend instead.
