Chris Matthews..will you SHUT UP about Hillary & Bill!!!!
Edited on Thu Nov-20-08 08:00 PM by glarius
I'm sick to death of hearing Matthews and others going on and on ad nauseum about how Hillary and Bill are being talked about concerning her possible appointment as Secretary of State. There Tweety is again tonight....almost having an apoplectic fit...yelling "what's going on?"..."why are we hearing so much about the Clintons?"...etc...etc....For God's sake...it's perfectly obvious to me what's going on. THIS IS A UNIQUE SITUATION!.... FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY A FORMER FIRST LADY AND HER HUSBAND THE FORMER PRESIDENT HAVE THIS KIND OF INVOLVEMENT IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!!!
It's only natural that this would draw so much extra attention.

P.S....All the news outlet channels are squawking about this same story and I know the reason is because they have nothing else making news in the Obama sphere right now. Still....I resent the way they are trying to manipulate the public's feelings. It disgusts me!

1. Your bolded caps...that's precisely why he's talking about it. So is
every other talking head and blogger. I think you need to relax.

4. Tweety is about ratings, period.
He's just trying to get a rise out of you, to create conflict so you'll keep tuning in to find out what happens next. Do not be fooled into thinking it's anything more.. It's the ratings, period.

6. Most of the media has loved to hate the Clintons..
No matter what they try to do to them, the Clintons rise above them, and their approval ratings remain strong.. Even with the mud they've slung at them over the years... AND really it started because an outsider, redneck from Arkansas dared to run for President, and guess what? He won.. AND Hillary wasn't a traditional, wear Pearls and swallow "happy" pills First Lady. They're jealous, petty beltway insiders. AND their reporting on the Clinton's should give everyone a bit of insight as to their feelings about the rest of the country.

7. The media and the Clinton haters are the ones who cause drama around Hillary.
Bill is a different story.

10. Bill loves the attention.. Hillary seems more like a roll up the sleaves and work type of woman.

15. Hillary is much more disciplined than Bill. Bill is more charismatic than Hillary,
They made a great team for Bill's ambition.

He hurts her NOW, I'm afraid. Only because he brings drama, and the media and Clinton haters harp on every word and action of the Clintons.

I have faith that Hillary will have a great future in politics despite her hurdles.

18. It'll be better when the media finds something to cover.
They ran out the Post-Palin drama until we all puked. They ran out as much as they can out of Chicago.. The economy is giving them great fodder... AND the Clinton's are always good for drama. Essentially, they've had 2 years of free work covering the campaigns. Now, they have nothing.. and they are trying to do anything to keep their audience. AND its not working. I'm sure they are losing viewers night after night.. AND with Shuster filling in for Keith and Rachel missing, the entire week has been pathetic. Shuster makes me want to fall asleep.. and then Rachel's missing. I've never been much for HardBall.. I think Tweety only likes to hear himself talk.. I'm not sure why he even invites guests on his show.. All he does is talk over them.. and when they do talk, he lets them get into a screaming match.. which hurts my ears.

Enough is enough already.

As to Tweety, he started talking about her as a Pres candidate 3 years before she lost the nomination. He really is obsessed.
