Is Olbermann back tonight?
I know the guy deserves some well earned vacation time, but I don't think I can stomach another edition of Countdown with David Shitster...

1. His voice is a killer. I thought Keith and Rachel had the week off. Isn't it sweeps still?

Shuster has the most annoying voice and mouth in news. Just watch his mouth next time he's on television. It makes shapes a human mouth should not make..

2. I think
that Keith is out all week...Rachel is back tonight though I think.

I like Shuster and don't have a problem with him, but I don't know if it's the best format for him.

5. They normally say when Keith will be back, and they didn't last night.
I think he's gone for the week.

Me, I like Shuster, but he's no Keith.

7. Shuster's ok.. he's NOT a commentator though.. he's a reporter.
He does that monotone, report the story thing.. so, when he tries to handle sarcasm with a "reporter" tone, it just comes out really wrong... I often wonder what they sound like if I bumped into them on the street. I wonder if they keep that "reporter" tone all the time, or if they have a normal talking voice.

Its the one thing I hate about reporters... I wonder, is there a special voice class they have to take? One that makes them speak monotone, with no inflection, and extremely deep. Its really weird. Also, the hair. What's up with the non-moving hair? Its sooo un-natural.

6. I like Rachel but I also like the woman who replaced her
I never caught her name because I don't get home in time to see the beginning of the show. But she's animated and funny and fresh.

8. Its Allison, right? The one that used to do the daytime, and used to be on during the timeq
Shuster normally is on.. 4pm now. She sometimes filled in for Keith. I didn't like her on Countdown.. but I love her on Rachel.. she's a great fill in for that show. Countdown is like dark, sarcastic man world.. Rachel is light, airy and informative.. She's a great substitute for Rachel.. Ariana Huffington was a horrible replacement on Monday for Rachel.

11. That would be Alison Stewart.
Check out her NPR show if you liked her on Maddow's show. It's good.

9. Shuster's fine. He's no KO (who is?)
but he's a good reporter, has an admirable sense of snark and is as good a sub as is available.

13. Which "other woman" are you referring to?
Huffington (with the accent),who was on Monday night, or Stewart, with the great snark, who was on Tuesday and Wednesday?

I love Alison Stewart, even subbing for Rachel.

12. He's gone all week...
apparently the first vacation he's taken in over a year. He's definitely earned it. But I will be VERY happy to have him back next week.
