I Think Lindsay Graham's Offices Lied to me :-O
In my search for inauguration tickets, I emailed all of my congresscritters, including my house representative and my 2 Senators. I live in SC, so one of my Senators is McCain's BFF Lindsay Graham.

I received a response from just one, my Democratic Congressman John Spratt. His office sent me a very informative email. The gist of it was this: His office won't know how many tickets they are getting until just a few days/weeks before the inauguration. They have put me on the list for consideration but can't make any decisions until they know how many tickets they get. His email recommended I email my Senators as well, which is why I did.

I got a call back from Graham's office yesterday. The woman called to tell me that they had gotten their tickets and that -oh so sorry- all of them were already distributed. But they won't get tickets until several weeks from now!

Based on what I heard from Congressman Spratt, Lindsay Graham's office lied to me. Of course, this woman and McCain BFF Lindsay Graham are Republicans, so we know they are liars. But still! So blatant!

I wonder what all the Republican congresscritters will do with their Inauguration tickets. Graham's office will probably auction them off on eBay. Losers.

2. I thought stuff like that always goes through the Rep, not the Senator
When you visit Washington you contact your Rep for tour tickets. That is part of their office's function.

3. For visits, inaug. tix are different
All congressional members are receiving tickets. I mailed my Rep. about tickets and it was his office that told me to also mail my Senators.
