It's that time of year...to choose our benefits at work
I sat down to do it...and I will be paying an additional $125 MORE every two weeks than I paid this year...for what amounts to less coverage on my insurance. Our "formulary" is basically the $4 list at Walmart that they will allow us to only pay 3x the amount for...and everything else skyrocketed at least 50% for out of pockets).
I didn't get a raise.
Our work is cutting us back to the bare bones (in other words--our hours have been cut and it's been awhile since I worked a full paycheck).
The American way of life is becoming unsustainable.
I wonder how long it will last...sigh.

1. We got a little good news on health insurance premiums

Mine are going down by about $12 per paycheck, and some of the coverage has actually increased. Last year we had a major increase over the previous year.

Pay raises probably will not be such good news.

:argh:

Floggings, check. Hot lead enemas, check. Humiliation, check. Leeches and bleedings, check. Arsenic for worming, check. Mercury, check.

Quite the list this year.
