1. Umm, excuse me, the Democratic Party in Minnesota
has been known as the DFL since 1944. Humphrey, Wellstone and Mondale were all DFLers.

3. The voter was expressing support both for the DFL...
...and for the Lizard People.

Unless the voter was just trying to be funny, which is my best guess.

...I voted not to count that vote because I thought that the person was too mentally ill to express a choice.

But on second thought, I decided that the person probably isn't mentally ill, but was just trying to be funny, and so the vote should count for Al Franken.

6. Voter was just currying favor with our real lords and masters
It's hard to tell when some people are joking, especially with the David Icke crowd.

I find it helps me sleep at night, especially after doing something stupid like searching YouTube for "Obama 666," to pretend they are all just joking.
