1. Mikulski's old shoes would beat any Republican in Maryland by 30 points.....
We haven't had a GOP Senator since Mathias and the Right Wingers of his own party screwed him over badly.....

2. We were all thinking Inouye might retire
then he got to be chair of Appropriations.

Just as long as he doesn't hold any more fundraisers for his buddy Ted Stevens (R-Cell Block J)...

5. Richard Burr needs to go.
We got Liddy Dole out; now I want my state to have TWO Democratic Senators. I hope either Mike Easley or Roy Cooper run against Burr. Whoever it is though, I will do everything I can to see Burr gets sent packing!

6. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it, but I think McCain is vulnerable in 2010.
Governor Napolitano is term limited, and her current term ends after 2010. Rumor is that she has her eye on McCain's Senate seat, and based on the current environment for Repukes in America, I bet she would have a decent shot at beating him. Napolitano is ADORED in Arizona.

9. Republicans have more seats to defend than Democrats
How about a clean sweep and get a decent senate majority?
