Why We Should LOVE Palin-mania!!
As the media gobbles up and spits out Palin!Palin!Palin! all the time, we should all just sit back and laugh, or cackle if you prefer, rubbing our hands together in glee.

There are many reasons we should adore the Palin coverage. First, it serves to magnify how hopelessly out of her league this media Twinkie is. Palin super-saturation will ensure that we are all as sick of her as we were of Britney 6 months ago. But the annoyance that Palin generates is the smallest benefit we realize from Palin-mania.

The best part of Palin is how she is going to destroy the Republican party, and the glee and schadenfreude-like joy we will all get from watching the Republican party systematically try to destroy her right back. We got glimpses of it today:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/11/13/gop-governors-unhappy-with-palin-press-conference/

This, in case you missed it, is the story. It's the real reason we should love Palin-mania. Palin attended this governor's conference, that was supposed to be among Republican governors, all trying to find a way to keep the Republican party from dying off as the marginalized, regional party is currently is.

Palin bopped in, and held a teenybopper press conference. The media completely ignored every other Republican governor in the room and they hated it. They expected they were all going to meet to have a discussion of equals, and instead all these Republican governors ended up being props behind Barbie.

The more the media pushes Palin-mania the angrier all the other Republican leaders will become, the more their infighting will ensue and the more they will try to ruin her and get her out of the spotlight for good. If Republican leaders didn't abhor Palin before she used them as props in her Twinkie press conference, they sure do now.

And I love it!

The longer this love-fest goes on, the better.

It's even more comical when you examine the reason the press follows her around so much...they're all waiting for the train wreck. They don't really give a rats ass what she has to say until she starts up with the crazy, and that usually doesn't take long.

3. If she only had a brain?

:eyes: Let's all thank goodness that Palin is not very intelligent nor insightful? :woohoo:

WHAT SHE COULD HAVE DONE: Instead of skipping yesterday's meetings in favor of numerous exclusive M$M interviews, she could have attended and actively promoted the "excellent ideas" of some of her peers. If she had an aide, he/she could have noted the contributions of Palin's peers. IF she came to this morning's press conference with "solid ideas" and attributions to many of her fellow Governors, she'd be seen as THE rising star in the GOP.

Arrogance and beauty can only get you so far. Even certifiable Sociopaths KNOW that you have to be charming and pump-up others' egos in order to achieve your more complex goals. Sarah Palin, in essence, is too self-centered and ignorant to achieve a place in the GOP's party leadership. :(
