1. I think I read the 18th is the vote

Obama, Biden can't vote.

2. the Dem caucus will vote when they come back in session but I'm not sure

if it will be now during the lame duck session or if it will be the newly seated Senate next Jan.

I'm thinking next January, strange to shake up cmte assignments during a session I would think
