3. Twice on MSNBC from two different people
Can't recall who it was earlier. Just heard it a second time (hence this post) from Chris Cilizza.

5. The RW slugs I work with were spouting this last week!
He'd barely been elected and they were snarling about how he wasn't having a positive effect on the economy. I suggested they wait till he is in office and is able to effect some change before they decide he's not working out. Then again, maybe he can pressure Paulson to do something POSITIVE before January.

16. Tell them we only have one President at a time and right now, the one we have is the one
who hasn't done anything but put us in the economic position we currently find ourselves it. I doubt the morans will get that, but it's worth a shot.

I have so much trouble not taking the Obama criticism personally -- I get defensive very fast which doesn't do my side of the argument any good. I'll try to remember to use this comeback --- its a good one!

7. WTF do they think he can do yet?
Much as I'd love to boot Georgie out tomorrow, Obama doesn't own shit until January 20th. Talk about starting the smears early.

12. I agree, it's unfair to ask this yet. Especially after what happened today. Paulson has

damn near made it impossible for anyone to do anything. He basically just gave up. He'll leave it for everyone else to figure out.

14. For the love of dog and all that is holy...
the guy hasn't been sworn in to office yet. Where are all the questions about what *current* president is doing to fix the economy? And let's not leave Congress out of this - what are *they* doing on the economy? Sure, start in on the guy who hasn't even taken office yet, media hacks. :eyes:

15. It is annoying and we need to keep repeating "He isn't president yet".
"mrbush is still president. Remember, as Obama said, there can be only 1 president at a time and he is not president yet."
