Is Ted Rall using fuzzy math

Last I saw Obama had ~53.3 % of the vote to McCain's 46.6 %. Which frankly seem a lot different than the crap Ted's trying to sell his readers this week. How lazy is it to not even have the basic fact of your OP ed right.

Rall isn't a particularly good commentator, IMO. A bit of passion, but not with much wisdom to impart.

3. A friend cited the same percentage to me on Friday.

She said NPR used those numbers. When I corrected her with the wider-margin numbers, she went back to check and said they'd updated the percentages.

I'd guess Ted's in the same boat, but he should know better. It reminds me of CNN using two-week-old poll results the week before the election to make the point that the race was neck-and-neck.
