1. Inhofe might want to call in sick that day. He'll be dramatically outmatched.
It's always a tough gig when a GOP moron has to be in the same room with a qualified Democrat.

Especially one who's been elected president.

3. I think that was part of the problem
in the Plame hearing. Many repugs were unwilling to attend for fear they would be seen of as stupid $%^&**#@! Davis just got lucky because Westmoreland was there to make him look at least like a half-wit.

12. I've been shouting it from the roof tops...
I have repub relatives in for a wedding and still told them about it, and that I'm not available until after the hearings. They couldn't understand whats so important. Well, I explained (since they are elderly) that it may not affect them, but would most certainly effect me and my kids (their kids and grandchildren, that is) and if they at least understood it, and wrote letters to support this work, they'd be helping a lot. I don't know if they listened, but I won't shut up anyway. LOL

9. Rattle Inhofe's Cage, Al. Bring Up The Dust Bowl!
Edited on Sun Mar-18-07 07:32 PM by VogonGlory
Rattle Jim Inhofe's cage, Al! Mention the Dust bowl of the 1930's, and remind Inhofe that the Dust Bowl happened WITHOUT Global Warming. With Global Warming and hotter temperatures, the line between mere drought and Dust Bowl-like conditions moves eastwards towards Ardmore, Altus, and Oklahoma City. How well are those cities' water supplies prepared for prolonged drought?

:nuke:  :dem:

14. I am reminded on the classic Dan Quayle joke from 1988:
The joke (which might have been true) went, "How will Dan Quayle practice for his VP debate with Bentsen?"

A: He stops his ears and screams, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!". :D
