about the same time we got our checks, I won two free fly anywhere in the US round trip airline tickets...

going to roll all of that together and book a cruise and we should only have to pay about 1000 bucks for the three of us to cruise in June 2009

1. I spent my on my first month's rent when I moved to Canada.
Being a tax filer for the last time, I wonder if Ill get another next year to spend up here.

Enjoy your free vacation.

10. Just because you live in a foreign country
doesn't mean you are exempt from filing US income tax returns. As long as you are still a citizen, Uncle Sam wants you to file, no matter where you live in the world.

4. I had to spend mine to get a tooth infection cleaned out...........
I had exhausted my annual dental benefits and I needed a root canal. The root canal cost about $1100 and the last $350 of my annual dental benefit went towards it.

I used my $600 stimulus check to pay off the balance. And I thanked the stars that I had cash to take my misery away!

9. Don't be sorry. As I said, I was glad I had the money to pay for it.
If necessary, I would have stood on street corners and whored myself to get the cash to pay for that root canal. That's how much pain I was in! ;)

7. Well no WONDER the economy crashed.
Obama only won because democrats like you crashed the economy.

(I actually heard a similar line of "reasoning" from a rightie.)

12. Mine Went To Democrats...
I don't have the exact numbers but my wife and I figure we donated to at least 40 different candidates this year in the primary and general...our entire "stimulus check" and several others to match. I feel it was money very, very well spent!
