A plug for DU

[Old and In the Way]

I'm sure we're all pretty much tapped out from this political cycle and the economy has got us all concerned going forward. Still, I think most of us that rely on DU for our daily reading appreciate the unique service that we get here. Sure, there are lots of blogs that have great content...but none come close to providing the depth and breadth of postings that DU's format supports. Certainly nothing approaches DU's LBN forum or the reader based special interest forums or the 1st class journals that we can create.

I no longer subscribe to any magazines, but I do subscribe to DU because I appreciate the value I get from this site. I'm doing a monthly Paypal subscription of $10.00. It's relatively painless way to contribute and probably helps Skinner and the crew in forecasting their budget and income. If you can spare it, think about becoming a sustaining member of the best political website on the net. I can't tell you how much I've saved on shrink bills since 2000 because this place helped keep me sane....

1. I have to agree. I know that this is the place to come to find out what is really happening

in the world.
I must also admit that it has been DU that has kept me sane during some of the most anxiety ridden moments in the modern political history of this country.

There is nothing that even comes close to DU in the level of the content and the immediateness of the topics.
