Indiana Presidential vote
Can anyone give me the results of Indiana's vote? Last time I heard, it was blue but in danger of turning red. Can't seem to find it. Surely there's a result now. I probably just missed it. Thanks for info if someone knows, though.

1. Went for Obama
It was a squeaker, though.

That's a real accomplishment.

2. It was called for Obama on the morning after the election.
I hadn't heard any possibility that it might switch.

It's only Missouri that's still in play. And I don't know how many votes there are there that are still outstanding.

4. No Possibility of a Switch

Check official election returns - - Barck won it by 30K to 40K votes, IIRC.

5. It will stay blue
Interesting article in today's Indy Star..
"Indiana now a player in Presidential politics".
Indiana could be a battleground state in future elections.
No longer a red state.

6. Alot of our house seats turned blue in 2006
Before 2006 we had 7 GOP and 2 dem house seats. After 2006 we had 5 dem and 4 GOP house seats. So I hope we keep this up. I'm honestly not sure what happened here to lead to this change. I notice in charts comparing 2004 vs 2008 that Indiana seems to have moved further to the left than any other state wrt to % shift from GOP to democratic (22% I think). I really don't know what brought that on. Could be the fact that the free market economic policies are a failure and we all know it. But if thats the case, why hasn't Ohio turned just as blue?
