Palin Speaks: 'ME NOT BE A DICTATOR'

Palin denounces her critics as cowardly

Associated Press
November 7, 2008 15 minutes ago

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called her critics cowards and jerks Friday for deriding her anonymously and insisted she never asked for the expensive wardrobe purchased for her use on the presidential campaign. "I never asked for anything more than a Diet Dr. Pepper once in a while," Palin said as she returned to the governor's office from her two-month odyssey as the GOP vice presidential nominee. She said the Republican National Committee paid for the tens of thousands of dollars in designer clothes and accessories. "Those are the RNC's clothes. They're not my clothes. I never forced anybody to buy anything," she said.

. . .

She particularly lashed out at the anonymous Republican campaign sources cited in a Fox News report who said she did not know Africa was a continent, not a country, and could not name the three countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement — Canada, the United States and Mexico. "I consider it cowardly" that they did not allow their names to be used, she said. < SHADES OF NIXON'S ENEMIES LIST ? > "If there are allegations based on questions or comments that I made in debate prep about NAFTA, and about the continent vs. the country when we talk about Africa there, then those were taken out of context," she said. "That's cruel, It's mean-spirited. It's immature. It's unprofessional and those guys are jerks if they came away with it, taking things out of context and then tried to spread something on national news. It's not fair, and it's not right."

Regarding Sen Ted Stevens, the brave anti-corruption reformer Palin has this to say, and it includes that classic Palinesque manner of speaking she adds 'ME NOT BE A DICTATOR' :

"The Alaska voters have spoken and me not be a dictator, won't be telling anyone what to do."

:hi:

Just because we won the election this week does not mean we should let down our guard.

This slimy slug slipped past us this week:

15. OMG!
Another good one! Mitch seems so more at home in that slug than he does in his own body. How did you do sense that about him?

Man, I have missed your witty pics around here. Hope all is well by you and yours.

:hi:

12. I am not going to let up on the repukes until their party no longer exists.
The GOP has proven to be a danger to humanity, and the world in general.

Now that the GOP down, it's time to start kicking it until it dies.

17. I'm having a rather good time demonizing some of the RW
nutjobs that live/work around me. Their jaws, never too far from the ground anyway, are quite perpetually open in amazement that their "team" lost.......

Yes, I have to admit to gloating, smirking, and getting downright smug. I'll get over it eventually.......... maybe :pal::evilgrin:

7. "I know , I know that I know"

Every-time I listen to her I have to hit my head to make sure if my brain
is still working that I really heard what she said.

I just heard Rachel play the tape of it and went Whaaaaaaaat?

14. She's completely admitting the Africa ignorance, but saying it's taken "out of context"
Edited on Fri Nov-07-08 10:37 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
I've given it a lot of thought, and I can only surmise that she included Africa in a list when she was asked to identify specific countries in a specific question.

edited.
