1. Gay and lesbian taxpayers in all 30 states with anti-equal-marriage statutes must refuse to pay all state taxes, or if those taxes have already been withheld at source by employers, then the states must be sued for back taxes, even if it clogs up the courts for the next 20 years. No taxation without representation. Sound familiar? Hey, where did I hear that phrase before?
2. The Roman Catholic church and the Mormon whatever-it-is must have their tax-exempt status removed, as they have proven themselves to be political organizations and not just religious entities. And as this is not a new phenomenon -- this political activism -- they must be forced to pay their back property taxes retroactively for the past 50 years, and they must be required to do so immediately or risk forfeiture of all their lands, properties and other effects to the state.
3. In California, the particular demographic/ethic groups that overwhelmingly supported Obama and yet voted to remove the civil rights of others, must issue a heartfelt, humble, and most profuse public apology to the GLBT community, and give up something precious of their own as a forfeit. We haven't decided what that will be yet, but it will be big.
