Help Needed in reply to this Obama message
"Hi, I need some help in replying to this anti Obama message that was posted on another board, I have decided to make it my last post at this board,(its a country music general discussion board) because the bigotry drives me nuts, I thought about going off at the poster who posted it, but thought better of it.

How should I go about replying to it?"

Liberal Obama Courts Evangelicals
January 22, 2007 12:11 PM EST

Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL) knows that getting the evangelicals on his side will help his run for the Oval Office. Therefore, as a liberal churchman he seeks the evangelical applause. And in some cases, he is getting it, unfortunately.
First, Obama is an outright religious liberal — pro-choice, pro-homosexual lifestyle, and pro-stem cell research. None of those positions are evangelical. They are all anti-Bible and anti-Christ ethic.

Second, Obama is a member of a theologically liberal denomination — the United Church of Christ (Congregational) that espouses much that is anti-Bible ethic.

Third, Obama was taught in a Muslim school for four years, though some reports state two years.

None of the above fits with the evangelical understanding of Christian doctrine.

Per CBS News, "Obama attended an AIDS summit in California organized by an evangelical pastor at Saddlebrook Church.

"That invitation drew fire from some conservative Christians who oppose the senator's support for abortion rights.

"Friday Obama said fidelity and abstinence are not always effective in fighting AIDS.

"’We are dealing with flesh and blood, men and women, and not abstractions. If condoms and potentially things like microbicides can prevent millions of deaths then they should be made more widely available,’ Obama said.

"Obama got a very public test for AIDS when the inside of his mouth was swabbed on stage at the conference."

This is all opportunistic play acting on the part of Obama. Just being on a platform surrounded by evangelicals must have made his heart sing. Being introduced by evangelicals must have boosted his ego immensely. After all, he had penetrated the evangelical camp with his charisma and was making points for future ballot booths.

The Saddlebrook Church staff should be ashamed for ever extending the invitation to Obama to be a part of their event. Evangelicals who have castigated the staff have their rights in order. They are acting properly.

All the while, Obama displays his toothy grin, counting his ballots falling down from heaven above from evangelical angels boosting his chances for the White House.

1. I would point out that the vicous smearing of his attending a State school
of no denomination in the 60s was not exactly a terrorist training ground. Then ask if the need to keep using a rumor proven untrue is a substitute for something more racist is his thinking

I would also point out that he is friends with Rick Warren. If he thinks Warren is some evil liberal then, I think he needs to recheck what jesus stood for. Not hate but, tolerance and love and understanding. Seeing by the hate spoused on this posting, it seems this man is repudiating jesus; teachings. How would jesus feel if he saw this man's behavior and his promoting hate rumors and the sliming of one of God's houses.

I would also tell him he should ask God for forgiveness for his evil heart and to recheck the teachings of jesus. Then He should take a long look in the mirror and see the hate in his heart.

this is the stuff that really gets to these people and using guilt to throw the hate back in thier face and how it's not christain and to remind them of what we learned in sunday school makes them feel very small.

let us know what happens.

3. I would also ask him why he is so afraid of Senator Obamas message of hope
and to rid the country of the partisan hate and bickering. Is he afraid he will lose the power to scare people and to influence his own brand of hate.

4. The obvious reply would be
To point out how the Founding Fathers created this country for freedom of religion and freedom FROM religion...meaning, Xtian evangelicals aren't supposed to be dictating government.
