Go straight, to HR and request diversity workshops for the whole department in lieu of lawsuits.
That should shut their yaps. Nothing these loudmouths hate worse than diversity workshops. They get all squirrelly and scrunched up their faces in the corner looking positively uncomfortable as all hell. Soon they start turning pale as casper the ghost scared someone will ask them to participate in some trustbuilding activities. The personal narratives' part of the diversity training positively makes them squirm.
It's like they have to be sent back to kindergarten for refresher courses on civility and good citizenship. After they finish diversity training, they can tackle sensitivity training into GLBT issues. Then a sexual harassment workshop. Stun them. Turn their hatred inward on them like a mirror.
Force them to sit through some workshops they will hate but can't refuse. Won't take long before they shut their traps. Trust me.
The loudmouth racists, homophobes and sexists never make a peep at these workshops including rolling their eyes or sighing theatrically. At least I've never heard one have the balls to. They don't have enough balls to stand up to a vending machine that steals their money let alone a person from a group they have targeted. Look people in the eye and spew your hate I say. What? Can't hear you. Crickets in the room.
