Love the way Republicans are now saying....
That they are waiting to see how Obama reaches out to them!! WTF! Like they reached out to us the past 8 years?? Man, is that the height of hubris or what.

11. Not bringing it up for bad memories but you know what they say
about stones and glass houses. And hypocrisy. So as a whole, DU can't really make that criticism against the Repubs.

3. I have no problem reaching out to them...
...to hand them their tax bill, or court summons, or to "book'em, Dano".

"As ye sow, so shall ye reap" and all that...

4. Yeah,but Democrats always reach out to Republicans.
I remember being upset when John Kennedy appointed Dean Rusk & Robert MacNamara to his Cabinet. It's
been that way my whole voting life & I can't remember a significant Democrat in a Republican President's
cabinet.

5. I reach out to Republicans
with an upright middle finger, signifying,"You're number 1 with us Democrats."

Fuck all those people. Don't give them an inch.

6. Funny how it's always on him to make people feel better & get over their hurt feelings when he wins.

8. Actually, that's just a role of a gracious winner. Especially one looking to govern a nation
successfully.

10. I find the irony a bit much from the freep side.
Comparing the behavior of Bush to that of Obama's, I find it insulting, actually, that they're demanding their little feelings not be hurt. They'll never be treated by Obama the way we were treated by Bush, hiscacbal and the freeps themselves.

9. Oh, but they DID reach out to us
They reached out over the past 8 years and cleaned out our wallets, our pensions, our savings, our home equity and so much more.

15. If they believe in Christianity the way they say they do
They would admit that the Golden Rule means they have been showing us for the past 8 years how they would like to be treated.

16. Gee, I remember how much they reached across the aisle
And they didn't have near the majorities that the Democrats now enjoy. This reminds me of church board dealings. We are constantly talking about how to include more people in the workings and work of the congregation. Then, after years of inactivity and indifference, someone or a group of someones gets involved and wants everything ordered to their satisfaction. Yeah, we'll get back to you on that. "Oh yeah? Well, I give almost $500 a year to this church, and if you don't do everything I want, I'm not giving another penny!"

Well, I'll double my offering next month, and we'll make that up in no time.
