I'm tired of hearing people call Obama a socialist

Especially after GWB nationalized the banking industry.

But that's the sour grapes talk I'm hearing. Obama is a socialist. These people must never have met a real socialist, because I'm pretty sure they wouldn't consider Obama to be one.

1. If the word socialism is used in the press, no matter who it is attached to, it is used incorrectly.

Unless you are reading real socialist writers, then the S-Word has absolutely no meaning in American Popular Discourse. In fact, if you hear Socialism on TV/Radio pejoratively, it is an indication that the person saying it is a complete idiot.

3. in fact I like to challenge those folks

by asking them to define the word. Oh the laughter from hearing them stutter and try to evade, normally ends up with them walking away grumbling about how "unfair" it is for me to ask them to have a clue what they are talking about :)

The people of this nation have decided that a muslim african american crazy preacher terrorist communist socialist celebrity who is too eloquent smart and inexperienced should be their leader. It seems that they are fine with that as long as he fixes the mess that the dallas oil mafia made.
