1. I hope he's resting and allowing himself to grieve Toot
it's been a hella ride and he needs to regroup a bit

I hope he takes a couple days to just be with his family

3. Well, pretty soon he's going to have to get the girls a dog.
He did promise them a puppy, and you know how kids are after you say that. You can't get one fast enough.

5. He has earned a vacation, but I suspect he's hard at work on transition issues.
He's got a funeral to go to and a puppy to acquire.
