Democrats are going to spend us into oblivion....
Democrats do tend to spend money. That is a fact, but when Democrats spend money we get something to show for it. New roads, new Bridges, new hospitals, schools, harbors and airports, etc. Republicans have spent over the last eight years every bit of revenue brought in by taxes and fees and also spent Trillions more in Deficit Spending and what do we have to show for any of it? We have thousands of dead people and destruction beyond description in some mid eastern countries. For What? What did we buy with all the money they spent?

1. ACTUALLY, they spend OUR money on THEIR crap...
...as they keep most of their ill gotten gains, paying less tax rates and in MANY cases, less actual taxes than us.

I hope we DO spend into oblivion...but by re-taking OUR money, to spend on OUR projects. There is NO REASON why anyone should make more than 10 million a year (100% tax rate above that amount), be taxed at less than 70% from a million to ten million, and taxed 50% if they make above 75,000, and everyone else should pay less or nothing at all. In addition, health care should be free for all, education at universities with progressive, non-republican agendas should be free, and we need to reenact the fairness doctrine.

Let's get OUR money back... and let's go after their accounts! Just because it was taxed once doesn't mean we can't get it back for economic fairness!

2. too much
50% on income over 75,000 is WAY WAY to high. Proposing that is the quickest way to lose

3. Tom Delay on Hardball said (of the Democrats):
"the damage they’re going to do to our economy in the short term is going to be unbelievable right off the bat"

Does he really think we'll all forget the damage that has already been done under Republican rule? And as you point out... with NOTHING but death and destruction (oh, and enormous CEO compensation) to show for it?

4. Obviously, Repugs love spending but only when it's for their causes.
Ted Stevens' lead right now is proof of that.
