I just realized that for the first time in 8-years I can watch a State of the Union speech!
I always loved the pomp and circumstance of watching the SOTU from the door keeper's "Madame Speaker, The President of the United States!" forward, but once Bush became president I tried to watch it the first year and I just couldn't stomach it. I've never tuned in since. Now with a real president I can once again tune in.

Doesn't Bush get one more?

Doesn't make sense for Obama to do one at the end of January when he is just taking over. I thought the outgoing president did one on his way out.
