I'm watching a journalist on MSNBC interview a black girl who looks to be about 12 and It makes me realize that an entire generation of people under 18 are going to grow up thinking a black president is normal and acceptable. This is great.

It must have felt like an eternity for those who had to give up their safety to make this night happen. ANd an eternity for those who had to grieve the senseless murder of lynched relatives.

Or endure poverty all their lives, despite their college degrees, because secters in the job market were closed to them. Or have to live in sub standard housing.
