1. I'll stick with my home state of
Texas.

We've provided the nation with plenty of vermin over the years.

34. I go with Texas as well.
Illinois is credited with Lincoln, although he was not born here nor grew up here. And we will be credited with Obama, although he also was not born or raised here. Who we can claim in the recent years are Durbin (born in East St. Louis and lives in Springfield) and Paul Simon (born and grew up here in Southern Illinois).

Of course we had Dennis Hestert for years, but I never voted for him.(Not in my district) My Representative is Costello(D) and he is pretty liberal. We also had Fitzgerald who Obama replaced.

12. I'm ashamed to say, but California may be at the top ...
... "presidents" that we've given America: Nixon and Reagan.

And we've given you Duke Cunningham, Dana Rohrebacher and Darrell Issa not to mention Sonny Bono, his wife, Mary as well as Bob Dornan .

Hell, we've even given ourselves Schwarzenidiot.

There are many more, but this is too scary even for Halloween.

31. Yes, but the Texan above left Dick Cheney off the Texas list...
He was in fact a resident there when Bush* asked him to join the ticket. I have to go with Texas for that reason alone.

and that has to be worth more "destroy the country" points than all of the others, plus, they shot Bobby Here.

We suck but we will try to make up for it in a few days. After Tuesday, you may refer to us as either Comrade or Citizen.

26. I'm sorry, but you're all wrong.
North Carolina has sent two real winners to the Senate: Jesse Helms, who you know, and Lauch Faircloth, the King of Pork--the kind with four legs. Lauch Faircloth owns a $20 million hog farm, and (although I can't find the link) I believe I heard that one of Faircloth's farms accidentally dumped a million gallons of liquified pig shit into the Neuse River.

If you're so inclined, I believe Mr. Faircloth deserves a truthiness memorial to his assholishness.

Would you be interested in donating to it?
