Some people are immune to being swift-boated. Obama is one of those people

I don't fully understand this phenomena but I have seen it before when I was younger and in grade school. Some of the kids when they were criticized by other kids made you dislike the kids doing the criticizing more than the kids being criticized.

It is inexplicable and I don't fully understand it myself. But Obama definitely has it.

2. Obama is likeable and doesn't say nasty things about others, and

has a beautiful smile.

When one makes ridiculous over the top name calling accusations against such a person, it is hard for it to work.

3. I believe it's because he knows his facts. And he hasn't sold out.

In other words, he's bright and he has a clean conscience.

But the more likely reason is, the groups funding swiftboat attacks ran out of money, or the internet and rapid responses diffuse these type of attacks

Obama has done so much in the way of fighting the smears from the right. He stands, listens to it, then makes a point after. And somehow, people listen to him and agree.

It is obvious as McCain has continued this line of campaigning, that it isn't working. I really think that he continues it just because he doesn't know how to get out of this once it has started, and that he thinks he needs to keep his base motivated through the end. But it certainly isn't working with the voters.

Obama has brought the entire RW down, because their attacks- from Fixed to Failin, all fall flat. And the more they continue, the more they look foolish.
